The Search for the Yellow Monitor

Huge, carnivorous yellow dragons are said to be living somewhere in the dense, monsoon forests of the Indonesian island Flores. Animals that probably resemble the Komodo dragons of the neighbouring islands - at least, this is the assumption. For
although the huge lizard monitors of Komodo Island were discovered almost 100 years ago and are meanwhile fairly well researched, virtually nothing is known about the yellow monitors. Are they a new species? And how could such a large, conspicuous animal conceal itself for such a long time from scientific research? The island of Flores is inhabited, and usually there are conflicts when humans cohabit with carnivores - but here there is no sign of this. Two German reptile experts set off in search of the mysterious yellow dragon - they have no idea what to expect...
