Simpleton is a poor carpenter's apprentice. Everyone makes fun of his naivete. His greatest wish is to make the sad Princess happy. When he gets a Golden Goose as a gift, he resolves to give it to the Princess...

"The road to happiness is not always a straight line." It's a lesson Till has to learn. All his life, he's been called "Simpleton" by his brothers and the villagers because he is honest, just, and friendly to people. But to everybody else, he's just naive. He is the only one willing to share his food with an old beggar. In thanks, the beggar gives him a golden goose. Because money and possessions mean nothing to him, the only thing the boy wants to do with this magical gift is to make the sad princess happy. But it's a long way to the castle, and greedy people want to steal his goose...
