Anna and Thomas are about to marry and have invited their family to the Tyrolean Alps. Stephan grumbles in the ski lift, reflecting on the lives of the Böttchers, Wittmanns, Bergers, and Königs: Anna unexpectedly found success as an actress, while Thomas is on the verge of joining a real estate company’s board – if he passes his mandatory sensitivity training. His wife Elisabeth still teaches but secretly supplements their income with Bitcoin trading. René, married to Dorothea and a father of twins, has become an overprotective helicopter dad.
